RU20 - Rebroadcast unit
The rebroadcast unit is part of the AR20P portable rebroadcast station that mutually links all transceivers in the automatic rebroadcast station with appropriate audio frequency and data cables. The RU20 is equipped with three signaling LEDs that inform AR20P operators of the current station settings and/or of AR20P error statuses. The RU20 and the entire rebroadcast station are controlled with a single button. The button activates individual AR20P operating modes. By default, the unit is connected with two transceivers that rebroadcast signals, and an optional third transceiver – a client transceiver for another rebroadcast station. The RU20 provides an Ethernet interface for firmware upgrades. Link through this interface is signaled by the corresponding LED.

• Automatic rebroadcasting of services on simplex or semi-duplex frequency-hopping channel, such as transmission of short text messages, ALERT, authentication, and BREAK IN.
• Automatic synchronization of all terminal transceivers from the AR20P rebroadcast station.
• Quick switching to directional communication between the transceiver connected to AR20P and terminal transceivers without rebroadcasting to another network.
• Optional connecting of a third transceiver - a terminal transceiver of another rebroadcast station, while compatibility of all fixed-frequency and frequency-hopping operation modes is ensured.
