KG20 - Key generator set
The KG20 set is offered to users who wish to use HW20 frequency hopping mode with #RF20# transceivers with own key management. The HW20 uses solely Black Key Management (keys are secured with Key Protection Key). Therefore the keys can only be generated by the KG20 generator.
The basic component of the set is the KG20 key generator, which, together with a PC software application, generates TRANSEC a COMSEC keys. The KG20 contains a high-quality random number generator that meets NIST SP 800-22 criteria. In cooperation with the software that checks duplicity of keys, it ensures generation of unique keys of high cryptographic value. The generated keyset files can be imported to the PK20 software to create operating configurations.
